Bishop Martin Sasse, of the Evangelical Church in Thuringia, in his pamphlet “Martin Luther on the Jews: Get rid of them”, approves or Kristallnacht as part of Luther’s strategy with the Jewish people:

I do not want to labour the point, but it is clear that Luther’s works were easily used by propagandists to justify and call for attacks on the Jewish people. May God in his mercy forgive us all from the use of theology to justify prejudice, injustice and oppression!
