The Second Conference of the International Hebrew Christian Alliance took place in Hamburg, Germany, July 16-20. The assembled Hebrew Christians discussed a full program, surveying the needs and opportunities Jewish believers in Yeshua faced around the world, particularly in Israel and Europe. They were filled with hope and vision, but concerned at increasing antisemitism and the failure of the Church to show the Jewish people the true nature of their faith. Sir Leon reflected in the October issue of the Quarterly Alliance Magazine:

Prayer: Thank you Lord for the men and women of faith and vision who founded the International Hebrew Christian (now Messianic Jewish) Alliance. Thank you for the statesmanlike leadership of Leon Levison, Harcourt Samuel and others. Raise up for us today such leaders in the Messianic Jewish movement, we pray, in Yeshua’s name, Amen.
